- ALL Pilots (local or visitors) MUST report to Duty Instructor before departure.
- Make blind transmissions on 129.975 of your intension's.
- It is recognized that it is sometimes impossible to avoid taxiing over winch
cables. However, please think long and hard about ways to avoid doing so
and only cross them if absolutely necessary.
- You must be 100% certain that you have not collected a cable when you cross them
(remember, fatalities have occurred involving winch cables and powered aircraft!).
- NO aircraft launch will take place if any part of the take-off run involves crossing
the cable line.
- It is worth considering the effect of collecting a cable around a tail wheel whilst
trying to deal
with a high-speed abort!.
